This is by far the nicest IMAA/Giant Scale meet in the country. I would not miss it. The best part is everything is free to the pilots.

I have to tell you this is the only way to hold an IMAA event everything free, parking, landing fee 0.00, and air show. There will be a Saturday night steak dinner. The Thistledown club shows you the greatest hospitality and has the ability to raise money from sponsorship from local businesses. By doing this they do not stick the pilots that make the show with a 10 or 15 dollar landing fee. Remember the pilots make your show and they are the guests and stars. We all need to learn from this and stop sticking it to the pilots that come to our events. I feel this is one reason the big events are shrinking. Please go to www.thistledownflyers.com and click on the registration link. Don't stand in line! Register early! We had 153 regstered pilots last year.
We also have a couple of surprises we will announce as time goes on one is for a night fly (under stadium lighting), Please come to this well organized and premier event.

I am going to be there, I already registered, booked my motel room and I am tuning my Edge for the corn pull competition, what I don't understand is why guys like Bunky would even want to compete with me with a little 35%, all I have to do is turn the smoke on and his tiny 35% will disappear and crash, Bunky stay home that's my final advice.

It's Time to Register!
If you're coming to the Thistledown Fly-In next month, be sure to pre-register at the Thistledown web site. Do it now!

Make your hotel reservations, too. They fill up fast. Details on the Events Page at the Thistledown web site.

Remember, all registered IMAA pilots get a free steak dinner on Saturday night. I have it on good authority that our butcher will be cutting the steaks THAT MORNING. We're talking fresh and top-quality here.

As always, no landing fee, no fees for camping or parking. Just bring yourself and something BIG to fly, and we'll take good care of you.
