3rd Annual Helis Buzzin the Border Fun Fly

Come join us for our third annual Fun Fly at the Chula Vista Model & Radio Control Club field in San Diego (South san Diego, actually right next to the Border).

We are holding a 3 day event September 14th 15th and 16th (Fri / Sat Sun).

We are currently updating our website (CVMRCC.com)with fun fly information.

We had ALOT of pilots last year, 74ish last year, and the parking lot was PACKED!!!!!! We had a great amount of raffle prizes, and fun for all. We alot alot of vendors there last year, and we are hoping for a BIGGER fun fly this year! And it sounds like Henry Caldwell is down for this event This guy is treat to watch fly.

Bring yout RVs, no hookups though, bring your night rigs as well!!!

Friday- The field will be ready by 8:00AM. Last year's Friday was a fun relaxing general flying day. We will have a transmitter impound depending on the number of pilots. We had a really good turn out last year for a weekday. Night flying was a blast!!!

Sat- General flying , Noon Time Demos,Autorotation- Pad Hop Contests (plus anything else you guys want to do) General Flying, Raffle, night flying and Heli Videos after dark.Food available Saturday

Sun- General relaxing flying day....

We had room for 4 or 5 motorhomes last year at the field. Motorhome parking first come first serve basis.

There are really no sound restrictions (within reason) at our field, so you can fly from sun up to late hours of the night no problem.

We will have 4 flight stations available.

Our goal is to have a great relaxing weekend for everyone!

You will need a current AMA card to fly at the event. As part of the AMA Sanction, I can sign you up immediately if you are not current ($58.00).It's still faster to do it on line
