That's before my time, so I'll have to take their word for it.

I am returning for my 3rd year at the Heatwave! I am looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Tim, I don't have a controversial plane this year, sorry!

est 1947 WOW! I noticed your ama charter number is in the 500's our club was established in 1972 and its AMA charter number is 276. You would think you would have a lower charter number being started in 1947.

There are a couple of members still in that club that can tell you the exact history. Grant Wilson and Bill Thomas come to mind. You sit around the cooler with those two and your brain will hurt in 10 mins due to the facts and storys they have. Awesome guys that have lived life very full and have no intention of slowing down!
Proud to say I've been friends with both since I was 12 years old. Gluedobbers are a great asset to model aviation.

Who else is coming to the Heatwave? Weather Man says he's gonna keep it under 100 this years. Besides Mark Trent has a solution for that problem.

I'll be there with my camera and my sleven mug!

No giant scale stuff to bring but one is in the works. I would like to learn, particularly from any Aerotech builders up there.

Scott, Hope to see you here this year. Get Randy David from Dallas to come too!

Gareth, we'll have over 150 giant scale planes here, so plenty of guys to talk to about building.

Oh No! I just looked at the IMAC calendar and this is the same weekend as the West Side IMAC in Oklahoma City. I'm planning to compete in that! I need the competition experience.
