Come to find out there are a lot of awesome 3D pilots going. David Payne will be there among other JR pilots. I cant wait. Its the weekend after next. Pilots list is up to 26 already.

I went 2 yrs ago and had a great time with the guys. For the most part, it was all 3D flying and no one tapping you on the should saying to move it out or not to do that. As long as it was been done in a safe manner and in control......Have at it.

You will have a good time for whoever decides to go.

Here are some shots of the fun we had when I went. Even after hours fun was had. This was my van.....I fly DA,Futaba, and Carden Aircraft, and they knew it. These guys were a trip. There were other vehicles in the hotel parking done up as well.

I'll agree with you on the DA and Carden part but the others we are going to have to work on!! It sounds like its going to be fun. And I heard that it is like you are talking about. Fly 3D as much and as close as you want just be safe with it. Thats my kinda fly-in. Can't wait.

This is my home field and will be the 2nd year that I will be participating at the 3D jam. It is MC'ed by Owen Maupin which is a really great guy.
David Payne is a former member of ours that has gone on to bigger and better things. I did get to learn a few tricks from him before he left.
There are a long list of great pilots that will be there and our field is pretty big with a lot of room for parking and a huge pit area.
Every bit of the jam is a blast. The flying, the night life........all of it should be awesome.
I would just like to invite anyone that reads this post to come on out and join us for a great time.

Man, this was a great event. Had an awesome time. It was nice to fly there and not have to worry about people complaining about the 3D. The event was first class. You were able to fly however the heck you wanted just as long as you kept it safe. Hover in your face type of flying was going on. Here a few pictures I took. A lot of nice folks and good turn out. Cant wait for the next one!!!!!!!!!
