I want to make it clear to everyone that this is a "fling what you bring" fly-in. That means that ALL TYPES of RC aircraft and heli's are welcome. You will see foamies, electrics, trainers, sport planes, warbirds, jets, 3D, giants....etc. and your plane will fit right in. There are not too many big events around the country that are for general type flying. It's a 3-ring circus for sure with amazing fun and fellowship.

And don't forget the food, band(s), and film festival at the field on Saturday evening. Plan to stay a while so you don't miss the fun.

Last but certainly not least, this is all to raise money for the children of the Victory Junction Gang Camp and we sincerely appreciate your financial support! 100% of ALL event proceeds will support this amazing camp. If it flies, you need to bring it. This is going to be an amazing event. The best part is that it is all for charity. Every single dollar goes to Victory Junction Gang Camp. I think that this speaks in high regards that so many people are willing to donate, not only prizes but their time. It is not everyday that we all can get together to do what we enjoy and it all go for such a great cause.

CD Larry Lewis and crew have been working very hard at RDRC Field to get things ready for the big event and it's all shaping up very well. Aside from the fact that we are experiencing a severe drought in central NC and the grass is burned up pretty bad, the place looks great!

Also, Jerry Smith called me last night to express his disappointment that he won't be able to make the event now due to some issues with his elderly mother. We will miss you, Jerry! But we'll blast a bunch of "Outlaws" in your honor!

i am leaving home tommorow around noon should take about 4-5 hours, so should get there in time for some flying. Its never too late for a flying lawnmower and the mini funtanaX, probably wont put the 37% together until sat. morning. Looking forward to it.
