| The Kentucky Fall Classic Fly-in is on again for 2007. This is a giant scale event. The dates are September 21 - 23. Again this year we will be donating part of the proceeds to Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital. Last year we had 8 inch of rain in about 48 hours. We had to cancel the event because our grounds were soaked. Even with the rain out our club still donated $500.00 to the cause. In addition we resurfaced our runway and added 50 additional feet of asphalt. We also have improved our runoff area on one end so that larger planes can use an additional 90 feet of grass runoff to help stop them. All this at a cost of approximately $25,000.00. Our event is a fun event with a focus on having 3 days of fun. We have lots of food, fun and flying. Come on Thursday and join us for a day of relaxed flying and a cookout in the afternoon for anyone at the field at no charge. Hope you can make it, this is a great fly-in for a great cause. The landing fee is 15$. Come on guys, it's time to start making plans to attend the KY Fall CLassic. This event is a great event. I hear rumors there may be some full scale warbirds do some flybys. I have heard there could be a P51, two AT-6's and a BT-13. In addition we have KY hospitality and some great food. So no reason not to come and join in the fun. Thanks, Doc Adams |

Hello Everyone, Just wanted to update you on some things. We are getting some great raffle items. We have a GP Super Sportster donated by Hobbico. A World Models Cub RTF and a Lazy Boy Recliner donated by Suff's Fine Furniture. We are also working on a full scale warbird flyby. If it happens we will hope to have a P51, a PT 19, an AT 6 and a BT 13. For sure we will have warbirds, just not sure what size. So come on out and support a great cause Cardianl Hill Hospital and the Lexington Model Airplane Club. Docadams |

The list of raffle items is growing. Speeders Hobby shop has donated a 2.4 G H 6 channel Futaba Radio that will go as a pilots raffle item. Hope you can make it to this not so well known fly-in. We just want you to come and enjoy the great weather, and some southern hospitality. DocAdams |

There is a guy or two that are starting to fly IMAC that are in your club up there, will see if they will bring it up since I am not a member. Curtis, its a good thing you all are doing as to the donations and stuff to Cardinal Hills, I was there at Cardinal Hills 13 years ago after an accident I had, its a really good place ! |
