So I here the DOGS show is the second largest giant scale fly-in, next to Nall? If so I guess it would be a worth while road trip for us Arky folks to make? Chances are you will see us there, always up for a good time.

If you are counting attendence then the Dayton show is actually larger with twenty to thirty thousand spectators each year. Pilots get to fly for large crowds all weekend. Not too bad a runway either. Blacktop full scale military length and width. Lots of vendors, Museum, and IMAX movie with great prizes for all from very generous sponsors. Come early and fly on Thursday.

Any chance of getting the Flying Giants members together for a big group photo at the DOGS event in two weeks or anyone going to show up??
It would be a shame to miss on a great opportunity. I know Papa Stek, Snapasaurus, Mark Trent, Bunky and others will be there but will Madmax make the trip?
Are we getting it covered again this year? Who`s coming???

Oh yeah! He was there last year. Snappy was having so much fun flying for the local news we had to make him go home at the end of the weekend. I think he burned ten gallons of fuel!
Need special interest stuff to fly at noon like Giant bombers, commercial twins or quads and more jets. This is the 60th anniversary of the Air Force and they would like to see military style jets flying during the show. All the brass shows up and loves the big stuff. Anything out there? Come on guys. Only six days left before the D.O.G.S. Airshow. Looks like the weather will cool down on Thursday for us. Finally a break from the heat! They are mowing grass at the field now.Horizon and Hobbico are registered along with thirty five other vendors for the Midway area.We have scheduled the Nascar movie for IMAX Saturday nite and the Museum will be opened up for all. Should be a great time.
