Well I guess I will start it. Who all is going to the dogs show? I think I will go this year and kinda wondering if it is worth driving over 800 miles for since I have not went to this one before. |

Well worth the drive, IMO. I figure if I drove 12 hours to the Tulsa gig in 05, I can drive 30 minutes to this one this year................

I'm going o possibly make it out for a day. If your traveling 800 miles and have the vacation time. Go to the DOGS show for the SEPT 1-2 weekend (or earlier) and then hit the Thistledown Flyin the following week. (Its only a little over an hour away) NOW THAT IS A SOLID REASON to travel 800 miles. You will have the time of your life going to both shows!!

I think that I will be going, and I may even take an airplane or two.  Wouldn't miss it. Always great flying at the AF Museum.

Forgot to mention this is the 60th anniversary of the United States Air Force. For those who regularly attend the DOGS you know that the National Museum of the USAF pretty much sponsors this event and has always done a great job at taking care of us RC folks. I talked with Dave Thomas, the USAF manager and he would like to have some form of USAF Heritage sequence for the show. In order to do this we'll need all you scale modelers out there with Air Force planes to bring them out. Anyone got an F-22 yet? http://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/
