I want people to know if you miised this one, you missed one of the great events in my book. It was well run thanks to Jeff, Rennie, Little Jamacian (sorry Pete?) All the RC gateway volunteers. Doing this for charity is one of the greatest things that we can do. Thank you Gateway RC, I will support you anytime I can. It was so nice to put faces to names. My family and I had a great time. They went to the beach twice. My mom and my daughter got to see the ocean for the first time in their lives.(It was a special time watching my wife and daughter running into the cold water. And the light in my moms eyes to see the ocean for the first time after 68 years was priceless. My father never got to see the ocean.) The barbecue Sat. night was awsome! Many people brought stuff for the deep fryer and we had a great time on a high cholesterol diet. I want to thank Jaguar Bone for the frozen treats. My wife and mom will be adding that to our list of must haves! The whole experience was OFF THE HOOK! Pilots, holy cow am I the only one who is not great at hovering? The all up was one of the greatest adrenalin rushes for me and I was not the one flying. I think if you where a pilot you got left out a little on the experience. The spotters had a great time I believe. The tail dunk was off the Hook! Did we mention that some of the youngest pilots where doing this? I was so pleased to see the flying skills of the younger pilots. Donnies son and Lous son did a outstanding job showing up most of the older generation (myself included) And lets not forget our lady pilot (forgive me I forgot her name) her and her husband where both very nice and a joy to watch fly. The whole group from Illinois and Missouri Brian and the gang are always a pleasure to be around. There as so much more good to this event. I can't remember all the good but I can't remember anything bad except a couple of lost aircraft. My closing thought are this... This is the kind of events I will make first priority on my list of things to do with airplanes. I love Imac and the people but I think the whole world and all the rc manufacturers better make room for the new event and that is HUCKING!!!! Thanks to Adam for showing off Bills airplanes, he makes it look easy but there is alot of pressure on him when he flys those monsters, I know the day will come when something will go wrong (all planes have a expiration date) but till then we are having a great time with them. Brandon thanks for all your help also I enjoyed spending time with you both this weekend! You missed it if you where not there and I hope you can make the next one!

You asked for video and you got video! I took this with my still camera so the resolution is not so great, but you couldn't get any closer to the action, I was right on the edge of the runway! 100_1974.MOV

Hey guys! All I can say is wow! The FX3D Event was a huge success! It turned out better than I could ever have imagined. The whole weekend has truely took 3D Events to the next level. We had about 68 registrered pilots, over 125 Giant Scale planes on hand. And tons of Red Hot 3D action on the flight line. Mr. Jeff Carte (Scwagg Master) kept the pilot prizes and raffles churning all weekend, (thanks to Extreme Flight RC and all the sponsors). We only had three Aunt Jamima Awards handed out, with VOODOO getting his sixth Pancake Award! Donnie (Flying Skunks) forgot to fuel up and ran out of gas in a low hover. And we had one aircraft lost do to some type of control surface issues. Other than that the whole weekend was quite safe. (2.4G really works!) My self, I acquired some battle damage to planes, but considering every thing, everybody did a great job in keeping the flight line safe. FX3D was a "Noon Time Demo" all day long, with some of the best pilots in our region and beyond, coming to play! The "All Up Huck" was off the hook and very impressive. It is amazing to see 13-14 planes hovering in close proximity, then punch out to the high heavens all at the same time!!! Good job to everybody in volved. The "The Tail Dunk" constest was fantastic! Another great demonstration of the talent that was on tap! Mike Chandley of Team Cholesterol lived up to his name with some awesome fried food! (Mr. Bigg Stuff, you are the MAN!) Also special thanks to Mr. Peter Jackson, Patrick Lanfri (club pres.), all of the volunteers of Gateway RC!! and especially to Mr. Jeff Carte for being the Super CD, Scwagg Master, Emcee, and for his humorous comments! Jeff thank you! Of course the big winners for this weekend is the "Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund", We were able to raise over $2,500 for this worthy cause! Big Thanks to God, and everybody involved! This is definitely the best event I have ever had the honor of participating in and help help organize! Jeff and I are already thinkg about next year, and now that we got the first one out of the way, next year will be even bigger! FX3D will be the "Must Do Event" for Florida for years to come! I have tons of video and pics! I will be a posting fool here tonight. So look for It! I am at work right now, but my head is still in Jax, FL hucking away!!!! Aloha!
