Let me explain a little about what we are trying to do. We, a handful of pilots, are forming the "Florida Freestyle Aerobatics Club". We are just a group of pilots that are passionate about 3D, Freestyle, and IMAC aerobatics. FFAC will be a place for exchange of info and ideas in regards to Aerobatic Aircraft, building & assembly, set-ups, and flying. But what we will be known for is the Traveling Huckfest Fly-in. We help clubs set-up there own 3D Fun-fly event, help put the word out, and show-up for a Fun-Fly like no other. I would like to say that it is for Giant Scale only, but we would be turning away future Giant Scalers. So it will be for any type of 3D aircraft. We like the idea that FG always are contributing to charities, I would like to do we the same and maybe donate part of raffle collection to a charity of our choice. Team Extreme and Extreme Flight RC is endorsing this, so if your Florida club is interested in hosting a "Huckfest", bring it up on this thread or you can PM me.

huck fest in jax???? iam in what days, what time where do i put my tent we have a small club but big in heart. flying as far as the eye can see. no politics, good people, 2 runways. and everyone likes 3-d just outside ocala. not one person would say hey the pattern goes that way. plenty of camping area no hook-ups running water, solar charging stations, real bathroom with sink, water fountain (ice-water). even a mister for summer flying. our elder guys like seeing someone who can fly and let er rip. they know how hard it is. 9 flying stations. heres a pic have plenty more

Okay guys,

We are in a little situation. We are going to have to call the Fly-in by a different name. I received a PM from Max at FG and we cannot use the name "Huckfest" because they own the rights. I am supporter of Max and FG, so I do not want to step on anybody's toes. So since the group I represent, The "Florida Freestyle Aerobatics Club" (Founding members: Rennie, Donnie-Flying Skunks, Little Hucker, Carlos-Lowkey3D, Lou2) we would like to be like to be associated with this Event. Here are some alternate names, please help me to select one.

"Florida Spring 3D Hoe-Down"
"Florida Spring 3D Huck-a-thon"
"Florida Spring 3D Jam"
"Florida Spring 3D Throw-down" - I like this one personally

Suggest a name if you guys want.

I would rather conflict with Perry Swap meet, what do you guys think? So 29 Feb thru 2 March?

Hey Jeff, I have contacted Max and he knows we are trying to change the Name.

Proposed Name & Date: Florida Extreme 3D Fly-in, March 1 & 2nd

Once we get the event nailed down with the Host Club, I will make a formal annoucement, hopefully with Max's blessings , and start a new thread. I have been getting alot of positive feed back about this.

Remember, this event is not just for the IMAC guys, myself included, but it is for all of the other extreme aerobatic / sport pilots as well. Man, there is a lot of talent out there that do not compete in IMAC. And besides, this is a "huck-it down in the dirt till it hurts!" event.

yea it might be the best place to have it if, there are a lot of people comming from out of state, lots of motels and restaurants. i would be there. our field would be a great place in the summer or anytime when there are no events around and no place to go but hey its all good nomatter where it is, but not in south fl. too far out of the way. sorry to say that, i used to live there go markim park where i learned to fly. the old field haha. before I75 was built
