Love the new name.......Lets not forget how long florida is,There were a bunch of people who couldent make it to atlanta huckfest due to the distance.It took me 11hrs to get to ATL,9 of it was in FLA.

Hey hey whoooooa whoa whoa fellas... I wanna be very clear about something here. The name "Huckfest" is a FlyingGiants brand name which has been created through alot of hard work of our staff and co-sponsors throughout the past 2 years. It's a new, and exciting event series which many have come to love and enjoy. There are many clubs and organizations who want to take part of this in 2008, however we have very specific criteria, namely, geographic diversity, dates, co-sponsor support and format. I want to make sure we're being fair to the good folks who have submitted interest in our upcoming 2008 FlyingGiants Huckfest Series.

Folks, please understand that we completely support Rennie and the FL/SC/NC/ crew's desire to put on a killer event - which they ubdoubtedly will. You all know I'll bend over backwards in any way I can to help this through sponsorship and advertising here at FG. But if an event is called a "Huckfest", FlyingGiants AKA GiantRC, LLC's name is on it. My only concern was using the name without prior discussion, and potentially upsetting others who have been waiting patiently on an answer for next year's series. I hope that makes sense, and there are no hard feelings. I'm not pulling Almighty anything here, you guy all know me better than that - BUT we fully support modeling and all the excitement of 3D flight, and moreover the camraderie that these events bring us.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help promote your event. You're a great group of dudes and friends, you have our full support, and we appreciate yours.

be careful when chosing the name. "Throw Down" is what Team Flying C!rkus uses for their huckfest name.

Hi Gang, count the FlyingHamiltons in.
Jax, is a great club, we have our Regional Championships there this weekend. Wonderfiul bunch of folks!
Parking might be a bit challenging though, with hundreds of folks pilots/spectators.

Hello Mr. Don Hamilton, Thanks for chiming in. Everybody in FLA who flys pattern aerobatics knows of the "Flying Hamiltons". I will be talking with you guys soon about IMAC competition for 2008. It will be that much better knowing you guys are coming!

Just a reminder, we are going to Name the Event: Florida Extreme 3D Fly-in

Proposed dates: March 1st & 2nd

I feel that this the best time for Florida Huckers and for the out of state huckers to thaw out, come down and start hucking!
