Lucky for us here in Central and South FLorida, we can fly almost all year long. For the rest of the year I will be concentrating more on building new 110" EF Yak 54 (Look for Build Thread), Scheduled Demo Shows, practicing IMAC (sportsman class ), between now and Jaunuary. I need to find others in my area to practice IMAC with. But if any of you guys want try a get a few pilots together for Huckin and practice, chime in on this thread. If some of y'all are like me, the only one that flies IMAC and 3D at your home field, and if you want to try and get a few more pilots of the same feather together, shoot your info here. I am sure some guys would travel to get some stick time, and gain through somebody else's experience, and visa versa. Thats the whole idea behind the"Florida Freestyle Aerobatics Club". man i had hoped to get you guys to come up to see our field. rennie where are you out of?? we have the space for plenty of pratice time when ever you guys want to. i would love to start going to the contests, but need help in the how its supposed to look kinda thing. 2 of us at our field want to start competeing but its hard to show somebody what you dont know. know what i mean..

I am in the same boat. I kinda know what to do and stick inputs. I talked to Chris Maier about snaps and straight lines. He teaches a judging school up north too. What we need is a seasoned IMAC pilot to teach a crash course (no pun intended).

note to self, next project, "Get seasoned pilot to teach IMAC class= Basics 101"

I will call up Don Hamilton, of the "Flying Hamiltons" He is a big IMAC advocate. Maybe he could recommend somebody in the Central FLA area.

Matt, I am going to be getting with a fellow beginning IMAC pilot in Sanford, Sat Nov. 17th. You can join us then. He has a little IMAC experience too.

Guys we are having a IMAC judging school in the southern part of the Southeast probably Jacksonville (GatewayRC.org) and everyone who is new to IMAC should come because flying isn't the only part of IMAC, you have to know how to judge since we judge each other during a contest.

Jeff, Yor are right. In order for you to be a better IMAC pilot, you must know what the judges are looking for. And it helps to make the judging even across the board.

I noticed on the SE IMAC Schedule that the school will be held on February 1st. I will come up if it is held in Jax, FLA.
