I just want to thank all of the pilots that came out to our fly in Texarkana. We had one of the best since I have been in the hobby. A special thanks to Tim Davie, Jason Redish and his parents Robert and Mary. They sure know how to travel in style. It was good to meet new guys and renew old acquaintenance's. The Fort Smith Boy's really new how to fly also. Let's remember what goes on at the flying field stays at the flying field. Hope to be at the Fort Smith Fly In in a few weeks.

Well I am home and relaxing after a weekend of fun. If you missed this years you really need to make it next time b/c we had a BLAST! They had a blender contest and I knew from the start that tim would win but I gave it a shot any way. I thought I did a pretty good one but here comes Tim with the 39% katana. He gets in the air and does the lowest most violent blender ever. the thing was so crazy that the g's made the top canopy just explode. It looked like he dumped confetty out of the plane. Tim, brother you got some serious skills it is always fun to watch you fly. Oh and thank you for letting me fly the cub, that thing is like a mix between a clipped wing cub and a extra. it will float like a cub and 3d like a extra. truely unbelievable, great job on the build. I know the texarkana guys are great hosts and Gary, Troy, and I sure had some fun. lets see those pictures and videos.....

Well made it home safely from a fantastic weekend of flying. Gary, David and also Davids wife for the great cooking and all others who put it together did a great job. See ya'll in Fort Smith I hope.

Thanks for putting on a good show for everyone and being so hospitable!
The Jet Ranger was a great addition to this year's event, and everyone had a great time. Extra on a Stick tastes better with age. Going to plant my fence post in the front yard and build a shrine of yellow daisys in the shape of a wing around it.

Josh, I think you beat me in blender chicken. I just hung on for the ride. I remembered something my instructor said when a canopy blew off 20 something years ago...."keep flying the airplane."

Hey guys,

I had a great time even though I didn't have a plane to fly in the event. To Gary and all the Texarkana RC club, you guys did a great job at putting on the event and my son really enjoyed the show. Next year I plan on flying at least my Bates Hellcat and who knows what else.....

Thanks GhostRider for coming over. It is always good when you can get your wife to drop you off at the event and her go on to the mall except for the money she spends. That makes less you can spend on RC. I also thank the other west enders that came over such as Doug Mercier and Nick from Dallas.
