TEXARKANA RADIO CONTROL BIG BIRD 2008

We are all looking forward to seeing everyone again and enjoying some really awesome flying. We will start setting everything up on Friday morning with local radio stations doing interviews for the evening news in the afternoon. Friday is opem flying and everyone is welcome to come early and enjoy the day with all of us. Paco has already list the registration form on his post so you can download it from there. If you still need assistance then give me a call at: 903-826-7919. Don't forget though to get the forms in before the event for all pre-registered pilots will receive a prize.

Yeah our club picnic is on the 3rd but its hard to turn down a jumbo fly-in (that close anyhow) Between 3 or 4 of us in Gary's truck and trailer surly we can get up enough gas funds. LOL

Thanks Lomchevac for wanting to come down. It looks like this year that is the way we are all going to have to go to these events. When we go to the Heatwave in July we will all have to pack up together to save gas. Look forward to flying with you guys.

I just wanted you guys to know that there is a motel about 5 miles from the flying field going toward Texarkana on the right on Hwy 59 just before you get to the loop. I stopped by there today and looked over the rooms. I would not have a problem at all staying there. It was clean and not to old. You can get a room there for $49.00 per nite. It is called the Budget Inn and the number is 903 838 0300. The address is 4501 South Lake Drive Texarkana,Tx. Make your reservations soon.
