We've heard from a great number of people that haven't been to this event before. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. Looks like th few extra $ in gas is not holding anyone back that wants to come. If you are in OK, Tx, La, or Ar, you wont want to miss!Look forward to seeing you there!

We have been working at the flying field a bit this past week making ready for our Big Bird event that is taking place this upcoming Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Of course Friday is "unscheduled" open flying and not really considered part of our event, but as always, a number of pilots will arrive that day to "get the feel" of our place. There promises to be some great flying and a good show that day just as a freebee to all who plan to attend. If you have the chance to come out on Friday, be sure and show up, it'll be good.

Saturday will be the big day, lots of pilots already signed up, lots more promised. Of course, this day is for 80" or true quarter scale planes only. Hope all can attend, the weather man is promising favorable weather for our area this weekend. Should be a great kick of show for the flying season. Much advertisement and getting the message out has gone into our event. The public as well as the media should be out in force.

Sunday will be our laid back flying day, open for what ever you choose to fly. Will be another great day.

One of our Club members, a full scale helicopter pilot, has promised to bring the real deal down for our viewing pleasure on Saturday. At the end of the day, he has saved a couple of seats for a pair of lucky registered RC pilots, who we'll draw names for, to ride back to Texarkana Regional Airport with him in the 'copter. This should be outstanding!!

More work is coming up, the field will be ready, hope to see you here in Texarkana at the TRCFC's Ravel Stroman Field located on the north end of Lake Wright Patman, HWY US59 just a few miles south of Texarkana, TX.

Time is short, guys, get your ducks in a row, it's going to be a good 'un. Weather man is going to treat us right, low 80's, mucho sunshine, light winds, cookin' up some great burgers for lunch, killer BBQ at supper time, and some serious flying for all who show up to paticipate. Don't be left out, get on down to Ttown and enjoy the weekend....Seeya there...PACO

Well I just might hop in the pickup and join yall anyway. Looks like my 42% is a month from getting in the air, but what the hell. I need to get away from my g/f for a weekend before she pisses me off to no end. I should have sold her with the yak. I might have made an extra $10. LOL. I hate cabin fever. I need to smell some gas burning.

Rob-good to here that you may come. You got to get away from those women every now and then. You got to let them know who is boss. Hope to see you there. Looks like the crowd is growing.

Yesterday was going to be the set up day. It turned out to be a fly in. The guys all came out early and got with the program. Lots of flying going on yesterday. With Gary Hall, Firefighter and Tim we all had a ball. Lots of others to many to mention. You guys that are on the edge come on out. You find a better bunch of folks to spend a weekend with.


I forgot to say anything about Jason. It was not much but he was able to have a good landing.
