I feel the best way to have a "class" is to be a hands on style of class, not just talking about it but doing it also.Great Idea

I am not sure what i am gunna do at this point but i am for sure thinking about repairing the Krill and have aero-graffix whip me up a killer wrap...and yes the gear is fine, there was no speed involved with the mishap just the right wheel got swallowed up by some lose deep sand and threw it into a wing over that i figured there was no damage from tell i walked up to get it and i was blown away how trashed it was.....I have my Dawghouse Yak 55 w/ DA 50 to hold me over tell i figure out what direction to go in.....I think the direction should be 40%...Later Matt

A hands on style of class is best. That is the best way of learning in my opinion.

Doug,
I think that your only option is to simply replace the Krill. You like that airplane and it does all the little things that make you look good in the air. Not only that, I think that people identify you with that airplane. I would fly the 55 until you have the new Krill done. Just say out of the ant hills.

Monty aka "Planewrappers" here on FG decided to pay us a visit at Triple Creek this morning. His first flight was pretty uneventful... that is until his engine died during a harrier. Results below and award accepted! Hope you get it fixed soon Monty.
By the way... that is one of two planes he put in while he visited! Both because of dead stick. What engines did you say you rely on Monty?

Anybody want to buy a couple 3W paperweights.
Time to get on the waiting list for the DA170's
That makes 3 planes lost to,...motor is running perfect and all the sudden,...nothing except for the sound of breaking balsa and crackling composite.

Yesterday, despite the 400 mph winds, I finally was abe to fly my new Extreme Flight 88" Yak. Donnie (Flying Skunks)had taken her for a short trim flight a couple of weekends ago in Daytona, so I knew all systems were go. The Yak handled well even with the gusty conditions and she showed no bad tendencies. Fortunately, the Hurricane winds were straight down the runway, so landings were a lot of fun. Silky smooth and almost at a hover.
This kit was everything that it promised. Now I know why so many people have this airplane.

The day wasn't without incident. Mark spent 45 minutes throwing the prop on his DA 50 and couldn't get it to turn over. After taking half the engine apart and putting it back together, it still wouldn't start. Then one of the guys from the peanut gallery suggested that he check the kill switch. Mark started his engine with one flip and took to the air!
The funny thing is that this is the second time he's done that.

Sorry Mark, this was just too good.
