Hey All!

Just wanted to pass along an update regarding the Main Raffle Grand Prize! So far it looks like we are going to raffle off a great Prize package! It will be a 50cc Giant Scale aircraft. I am trying to hammer down some other details but Desert Aircraft is all in! I spoke to Tony Russo and he says that Desert Aircraft will be sending us a 50cc DA50R gas engine!! So we will be firming up other details on the aircraft and servos. A Complete RC airplane package w/ plane, engine, prop, and servos, just add batteries and your receiver, some misc. parts (and some assembly) and somebody will walk away with a top of the line 50cc RC aircraft, just by showing up at the event and buying a raffle ticket!!!!

Pilot prizes are off the hook as well!

Thanks for posting the vids Dale. It wasn't one of my best efforts. Never flown at the field before and a severe cross wind from my back. It was still fun though!

Those cross winds from behind are killer sometimes I know what Rennie means. I was landing my Yak and it was kinda interesting. Thanks to Chris over at EF the gear bends before anything breaks which is a relief.

We just found out that the Channel 8 Morning Show (NBC) will be at Triple Creek RC tomorrow Wed 4/23 between 1 and 3 PM to do a spot on the club. I am hoping to also get some news coverage for the upcoming TC3D event. If any of you giant scale 3Ders can come by and put on a show for TV to promote the event, that would be great.

Jeff, That is going kind of tuff for me to do. But it is great news that you can get a news spot on TV! Keep in mind that if you get news coverage of any AMA sanctioned event, you will get $200 for each type of media coverage. If you get TV and Newspaer coverage, your club will receive $400 from the AMA!
Wish I could have the time to do that tomorrow for Triple Creek!
