Got a question for ya. I usually get my hotel reservations through Hotels.com. They always have great prices. Is the Best Western Park Plaza Motor the same as the Best Western Catalina Inn? If not is the park plaza motor further away from the field? Seems like they are the only one with a full on breakfast in the morning and not your one bagel and cheap orange juice in the morning. lol

Hey Chris,

Chacy is out of pocket right now, so I will answer your question. Those are 2 different hotels. The Best Western Catalina Inn is the closest to the field.

How far from the field is the other one?

Hey Chris, sorry I didn't get back to you quicker, I didn't have time to post last night and was gone all day today. Greg's (pickensflyer) got you covered with that info. I think you're right about the breakfast, the Catalina Inn is not going to be anything special, however, if you don't mind Waffle House, there's one right next door to the Catalina Inn in Northport. There's also another place just up the road that's only about 1 mile out of the way going straight to the field that serves breakfast - it's called Buddy's - real easy to find.

Hey Wes, that's great! Just got back in from the Nall yesterday afternoon. Lot of fun. Joined the "Dunkin Rudders" club this year in the lake by the 3D flight line, lol. I talked to Mike Sauls, Joey Hamilton, Chase Wolk, and some other people about coming. They all said they'd try to make it, we'll see who shows up, lol. Joey's looking for an airplane.
Yeah, I'm trying to get this 42% finished up and in the air before this weekend. It may not fly until Friday, lol, we'll see. I have to work a couple of days this week that I didn't plan on.
You and Reezie have a safe trip on Thursday and I look forward to it. Shout at me if you need anything. C ya

We will be there on Saturday. Roger and myself are coming, maybe a few more. Chris, we finally got the engine back up and going in the Carden Edge so it will be ready to go for Saturday.

I think it is down to a 30% chance of isolated storms now.
