i don't have anything with floats yet, but i was going to come down to watch but with the wind, i ended up just working around the house. looking forward to the lynn cole fly in july 18th and 19th, will be my first time flying at torcm, well except for new years day flying that little foamy in the high winds and freazing.

it's run on the lake too..... I should have taken out a couple of mine.... but, I just watched and conversed w/ guests... still had fun I hope the Lynn Cole is Off the Hook! Looking forward to a wild time! Oh, yes, good old New Years Snowball fly-in..... you ain't a kiddin it was freezing! and the few of us brave guys really tackled the wind.. that was cool watchin' you fly the foamy.... with the lights on it... had some issues with the plane, (wing warped or something) so I retired it. Untill I can get it fixed. I would say the best and most acceptable night fliers would be electric, due to possible noise issues... My Decathlon has a Saito .82 on it, but mostly I just cruised around 1/2 throttle, and no one got upset...... even had a few good compliments.... My ultimate goal is to light up my Mini Funtana X.... that's gonna be a riot! Gotta respect the very few neighbors we have, as they are awesome people!!! Night flying is totally awesome, and I encourage it... So far, I'm the only in in the TORCM club that has successfully and repeatedly accomplished many night flights.... (hmmm... UFO reports over Seneca County, Ohio????) And yes, if there are at least two foamies that show up, we'll do a bash'em demo! The more, the merrier... Spread the word.... This could be a blast... I enjoyed the foamy bashat the Napolean Ohio Huckfest last year.... I think we started out with about 20 foamies!!! We are also planning on a Foamy bash at the Big Bird Fly-in during August too as a noon-time fun session... | ||||||||||||||||||
