Too true AJ! Our attitude is pilots must respect our equipment. No 3d'ing no full throttle yeehaws! But if they were to go in, we'll get more! NO PROBLEM! AJ, would you please share your experience at the MCYM with our readers? I think folks get too caught up on what it isn't as opposed to what it is! Mr. Sadler |

| Sure Biff! Me and my uncle packed two days before the event and headed down the day before. We got there the day before and set up camp right next to the gazebo. I saw one person flying his foamy when I got there so right away I got mine out and what a better way to introduce yourself than to hover right next to him. LOL But as the night went on two others joined Seth and I. I met Phillip, Kyle, and Alex. All of them were great guys! That night we stayed up till like 3:00 in the morning flying our foamies and getting to know each other. Seems I was the odd man out since I had a bendable foamy and could balance anything on my head LOL. So I guess I provided some of that nights entertainment. LOL That night was one night I will NEVER forget because I was hanging out with people who enjoyed doing hat I do and that is what made this event the most special to me. The next day was the competition. I woke up to the great sound of a funtana flown by Phillip practicing for that day. I walked outside of my tent and saw more people arriving. Later at like 10:00 we started the competition. I had to go first YIPPY. LOL. They fired up the extra 300 and took it off then they handed the transmitter over to me. I got one practice run and then it was showtime. I had a blast flying that plane. IT FLEW GREAT! After I was done they landed it and called someone else up to fly. I went up to the next person and told them how it flew and what some of the tendencies were and also told him good luck. One memorable moment was when a kid was flying and he came out of a half loop and at full throttle planted that sucker right into the ground everyone was thankfully ok. So after we salvaged no I mean threw away the airplane a gentlemen w/ team Leyland donated a 40% extra 330 that the advanced class used the rest of the day. If you only read one thing in this post I hope it is this. I learned that you could be the greatest flyer IN THE WORLD or have the biggest airplanes. But people don’t care if you’re a butt hole. This competition is ALL about supporting one another and helping each other out and MOST of all making friends that will stay w/ you for a lifetime! I wish all of you the best of luck and remember to lend a helping hand because you never know when you will need one. A.J. Vines |

Thanks AJ!! Sometimes folks start out trying to do something one way, but it ends up going another direction. I'm sure happy to hear your feed back. If that's what you took away from the MCYM, we've done our job!! Thanks buddy! Mr. Sadler |

Mr. Sadler, In the past the Matt Chapman Youth Masters has only been a one day event. It is my understanding that the Triple Tree Aerodrome will be hosting a two day event this year. Will you elaborate just a little more of what to expect in the two days? Thank You, Mr. Porter Last edited by Downhumpty; 06-08-2006 at 09:41 PM. |

Mr. Porter. First of all,,what a well written letter. Two extra points for you!! The first day will be flying and getting used to the planes. We'll also have some great instruction/seminars on some cool stuff. I think you guys will enjoy it! I'm keeping a couple things TOP secret. We will have 2 flight lines,,,,,,hmmmmm,,,, also 2 times as many airplanes!!!
