what you mean like this.... im used to wilderness camping, but i take advantage of easy food where i can ,,, try packing 5 days of stuff into a 14 ft, by 24 inch kayak, and 5 ft of it is un usable cuase im sitting there, thats a fun trip hehe

From Toby's place, Hillsboro is about 20 minutes north. Some decent grub shacks there. Not too many "good" sit in places and drink all nite. Hell, we can do that at Toby's. *YEAH!!!* Really all depends on what your "Flavour" is.............

going out on rt. 32 towards Toby's there is absolutely nothing food wise, someone said Hillsboro, it's got a few places, but on Fri. and Sat. nights in the summer it's packed with kids cruising the strip in thier ricers and big ol' diesels, least thats the its been the last couple of years, I'm like half an hour away and used to go up there

Got some good news and some bad news:

First the bad.. My daddio booked a trip to chicago for him and my step mom on the 27th.. He'll be gone through the 29th... Late... I was planning to leave the 29th early to get there and help Toby with anything he needed.. That doesn't seem so bad but he was the only adult going with us.. Other than that its just me and corey. And we're both 16. We do have our liscenses but its kinda hard when your 16 to pack up and drive 6+ hours and stay 3-4 days somewhere!

The good.. My dad doesn't mind me and Corey going to the Huckfest! But we're unsure since it'd be the first roadtrip over an hour! But if we decide to go for it we could come up there the 27th and help Toby with whatever if he wanted us too.. Or we could take our time and hit some site on the way!

Anywho, I THINK it will all work out, but I can't be certain til closer to time to go.. I'll let you know ASAP!

hope ya make it iceman, this will be one of my longer trips, i may end up with the mini van, for reliablity, my jeep isnt all the great at it , and 15 mpg haha, just take it slow, and preplan your route, lemme know which way ya plan on going, it might over lap my route as far as packing for 3 days,, thats the easy part, packing for 3 days fun,, thall be a nother story hahah

I love road trips!!! Hopefully Max buys me a plane ticket so I can fly to SoCal and get his stuff going for him!! Best thing to do is start early. Take breaks if you get tired of driving. Get out and stretch and walk about for a little. With you guys being 16, it is best to take your time, big deal if you leave early to get here??? Just means that much more time to FLY once you arrive!! And definately PLAN YOUR ROUTE!!!!! For the looks of things here at work, I may not be able to take off Friday. But I have that scheduled off on VAC day. My maintenance partner here has to go have a tumor removed from his stomach, and will be off for 8 weeks. So, we'll see, if I can take off Friday or not..... Freaking decisions!!!! I know, just go fly and have fun!!!!
