Toby, I will be in early to help with whatever needs to be done. I will be bringing a first aid kit and canopy to set up a first aid station close to the flight line. I have passed out fliers in the southwest Indiana area. At the Nall we passed out fliers up and down the flight line and staging area, and to the vendors. I am looking forward to meeting those that either couldn't come to the Nall, or I missed in the daze. I am working on planes to bring. I hope to get some flying in early in the week so that I will have more time to help at the even instead of wanting to fly as much.

I'm down to do a duty as flight line Boss... BUT I'm bringing a BULL HORN!!

Everyone who thinks they are doing something PM me what you think you are doing and what days your doing it. I'll make a phisical list and then we will know where we need people.

And let me just say that I HOPE people understand that this event may be a bit looser that "the NALL" (allowing fireworks and such) but Two important things.

1) TOBY is being generous with his land and well pretty much his HOME -
Any disrespect of his facility or unsafe actions or discarded trash or anything will NOT BE TOLERATED. Please treat his home as if it was your own. This is a zero tolerance RULE. You destroy ANYTHING, or do something stupid you will be asked to leave.

2)What ever you bring with you to the event - you take home with you.
This includes trash, crashed planes, extra food, excess fuel... everything.

With the proper attitude (that I believe 90+% of RC modlers have) we should have a great, safe , positive event. (And not make Toby hate us!! )

Sleepy, I second that. For those at the Nall remember the Look of the grounds. The respect for the property and property owners was apparent by the lack of trash. You didn't even see any cigarette butts on the ground. We should treat Toby and his property with the same respect.

As for crashed planes we might make an exception and allow a Viking funeral for them on the fire after the hot dogs and marshmallows have been cooked.

Sleepy, Question. Are we going to take a page from the Nall and have an area for spectrum flying? It would give the opportunity for more flying for the pilots.

guys, THANKS for the respect regarding the property and such. as far as the viking funeral. just ask chris fry how to perform one. he did that last year at my imac. the imac gods looked upon the burning wreckage and declared "ye shall have another!", and poof six months later one materialized at the toledo show. i would really like this to become an annual event, and anyone who knows me and my kids, we love to fly! later, toby....

There are pics floating around somewhere's of that funeral. That was one drunken mess, after the fact, I should say..... Y'all aint gotta that the wreckage home, but y'all can't let it stay at Toby's. That is the ONLY rule concerning "funerals!"
