I was asking them about a day pass to use the shower facilities for the people that are going to be camping on site at the Huckfest. It is $2.00 per carload for a pass to use the facilities. I just wanted to pass along the information.

hey wizard, good call! i totally forgot about long's retreat. its basically a lake resort with a water park(lake), slides, and putt-putt if i remember correctly. there are cabins for rent and they have places for the rv guys. it would be a good place to send the wife and kids while you do some hucking. hint, hint, wink, wink also, if anyone is interested; serpeant mound is located 1 mile from my house. it is an ancient indian mound that looks like a snake. there is a lot of hiking and nature stuff to do there. again, thanks wizard! toby.... does anyone want to go flying? i know i do!

hey guys, we are fast approaching the HUCKFEST!!!! just want to let everyone know all preparations for the fly-in are going well. i will post pics of the fields here in a couple of days once i have a chance to bush hog all of my property. there will be 15 acres of parking. if at all possible if you are bringing an rv or travel trailer please email me. i want to plan accordingly. we have a large circus style tent coming in and we have a kick-ass pa/stereo system thanks to chris fry. i'm planning on staggering the rows of tents so cars can come in drop off planes/equipment and then go park. i have a professional catering person (a friend of the family) coming in to do lunch and she will be doing dinner on saturday. to say the least, this lady is ONE GREAT COOK. by what she tells me we will be having pulled pork, rolls, potato salad, macarroni salad, cole slaw, and couple other things i can't remember . did i say she is a great cook yet? as i have said all along this event is benefitting the children's home of adams county. with that said, i have the administration and all of the kids coming saturday to enjoy the festivities, the dinner, and the fireworks display. i would like to thank max,biff,sleepy, chris and all of the other fg staff for helping promote this event and i wish everyone a safe trip here and I hope everyone has a GREAT time!!!!
ps: just to remind everyone, bring some extra fireworks , it is the 4th of july weekend basically!!!! Celebrate the USA!!!!

Man I have the camping gear all together ready to load. I just ordered the last few items today, for some electric flying, so it will be here in time. If I didn't have to work I would be on the road now.

I am leaving work at 11:30 on Thursday, and heading straight to the fest. SO I will be there around 4 on Thursday!
I know its not tuesday, but best I can do.

Especially after I got a promotion and a raise today, the next words out of my mouth to my boss were, "Oh and do you mind if I take an extra 1/2 a day on the thursday before I leave?"

went over like a FART in Church but he said yes!
