i'm looking forward to the efest. I'll be flying my bypyak, and for the combat, i will use my old beat up
greatplanes yak55 foamy. Its seen better days! time to meet the rubberized floor, my little yak buddy

I caught word that there may not be a freestyle competition this time... Just demos! too bad, I enjoyed seeing quique, J Noll, Glezellis, Jesky, and all the other awesome pilots rock it out last time

Is the E-fest open to any pilot, or is there an invitational thing going on???

any pilot can fly there. last time there was over 200 registered pilots that were able to get ALOT of flights in. (most had the DX-6 spread spektrum though) The invitation was for the freestyle competition. you should go!

They'll all still be there. There won't be a freestyle competition, but there will still be a similar show on Sat. night. They'll all still be flying the same routines as if there was a competition.

Hi All,

The E-Fest will be set up a little differently this year due to the anticipated pilot count. (250) I'm setting up 2 flightlines away from each other so that the Huckers and circle flyers can fly without disturbing each other. There will also be times available in each area for helis, and 3D as well as micros and slow flyers on the other flightline. There shouldn't be any complaints as not getting a chance to fly!!

Another advantage with this layout is there won't be an issue with the lighting. The flightline change will allow you to fly without looking into the lights on the ceiling.

Don't forget about the Combat, and pylon race!

Anybody going from the Philly area? I might need to get a Ziroli P-51 (to sell, not to fly) out there and I would be willing to pay for your gas.
