Is anyone aware of a current shareware file available to enable a Roland Camm 1 vinyl cutter to recognise and cut graphics. I have no problem with fonts and making lettered signs . I use corel 8 to cut from . Thanks

If that's what it takes to make it work . It seems I'm a much better carpenter than computer whiz.

Roland sells a converter software for the camm1 that loads into corel then with a click of the icon it converts to cutstudio to be sent to the camm. I will look for my disk hit me with a pm tonight and i will let you know if found it. jeramy |

Don't know for sure about Corel 8, but I have used Corel 4, 5 and 7 for years. Go to Rolands web site and there should be drivers for your plotter that will enable you to use it much like a printer. Options are not as extenstive as say Flexi-Sign but will do enough to get the plotter working.

Click on Print in Corel. Look and see if your Camm-1 is on the list of printers! It's that simple! I use Corel X3 and also used Corel 12. No problem. Go the this site: http://www.asigns.com/CorelDRAWSign.htm
