Default Another "Which Vid Software for me" Thread

I know, I know....but it has been a while since we had one....

Looking for Good vid editing software... $100 or less.
I have used Windows Movie maker, but I really don't like it....
Can't justify more money.... just using it for home movies (with a 6 year old, we have lots of those!) a few RC things etc.etc. etc.

One stop.... meaning I can capture, edit easily... at some DVD menus
(this is the feature that anything I have used is very weak and dificult to do)
and then either burn the DVD or at least create the DVD files and then I can use Nero to burn

Adobe Premier Elements? (would love full, but can't justify the cost)
Others?

What say ye?

Cheers
Exeter

I picked up 3 copies of Pinnacle Titanium 10.5 Plus edition at Best Buy for $39.00 on sale the other day. Originally $100.00 Very high end but not as user friendly as some. However, it will do more than most. Once you figure it out, it's user friendly.

Just so you know, you can't buy 10.6 anywhere, buy the 10.5 and it's a free upgrade over the internet to 10.6. It's really a nice software editing package that does a lot.

All the vids I did for Joe Nall were done on pinnacle v9.0 or something like that... I have since gone to MAC with FC Pro... I LOVE IT !! both do well, MAC's rip pc's to pieces for vid editing. However PC is coming out with some different memory formats that may allow PC's to keep up with MACs during editing.
