its a great plane...remember to add some color to the top and bottom to be able to see it better. The build is really quick. What engine are you putting in it?

Maiden flight(s) today!

I got my fuel lines crossed a bit and had to work that out (note to self... the pressure line doesn't go on the carb..) Had two deadsticks trying to figure out what was going on because I REFUSE to pull the wing off and look at the fittings

ALMOST lost it too; I finally had the engine running correctly and it was flying great (very smooth plane) so I decided to get my hovering a bit lower (I was still nervous about the engine). I pulled into a hover around 20' up; it was rock solid, perfect!

Then the engine quit. LOL.

I let it fall forward then yanked the stick back to try to get the tail down to minimize the damage; RIGHT before hitting the ground the engine caught again, and the sudden thrust pushed the tail down and pulled the plane forward. It hit much, much lighter than I was expecting. Only damage was a slightly bent left gear leg and a piece of grass through the wing (my planes have a hole fetish). Pretty tough plane, too!

Same thing happened to me when flying my UCanDo last year... except I was too low to pull out. Split the wing on impact.
