Mike can rock a skate board, but I'm not so impressed with his bike skills. I'm not sure he will be logging on to see this anytime soon. Seems his wife got a cat against his wishes. That cat invaded his home office, and climbed up on a bookshelf. It knocked over the big bookshelf crushing his computer (with months of artwork he is doing for a golf book), and worse yet, crushing the fuse of his beloved Comp ARF 260 (totaled I'm told). His wife has hidden the cat in an undisclosed location for it's safety. Mike is spending his time trying to recover his lost artwork, and breaking the cat witness protection program. We all feel real bad for you Spike! |

No joke, in fact there was bad mojo for team San Diego all over the place last week. You know about Mike. Ray lost his new ZN-Line 40% Extra. It went straight in, the fuel tank ruptured. From what I have been told, the flames were 10 feet high. Everything burned, nothing saved. Tim had a flame out on his 40% Carden 260 and couldn't get the plane back over the wires. It hit the wires, and flopped 30 feet down on it's back. The good news is that he is a great builder and that plane will fly again. Roy had his new Aeroworks YAK go straight in due to a radio issue. Hit hard, but with some work, it may fly again. I was too busy to fly last week, maybe that was a good thing. We all flew on Sunday with no incidents, so maybe the curse has been lifted. Still, I wouldn't want to be that cat when Spike finally finds him.... | ||||||||||||||||||

Steve, That sucks about Spike he is great guy and does not deserve that type of abuse from a cat. I hear there are some good irrigation cannals around there! |
