I think my favorite is from the immortal Spike Milligan when they put him in a boxing ring in the Army against the regimental champion!!

Jim, If you can find it get a book called "Adolf Hitler and My Part in His Downfall" by Spike Milligan. You will laugh out loud until you cry! I promise.

Spike M was in a class of his own, and funny right till the end, I will look up the book

,He played a major part in anything funny in the UK for years radio or tv, they'll never be another like him.

You've certainly got that right buddy!!! He was a brilliant comedian! I read all of his books and it was sad to read the last as he actually ended up in an institute at the end of the war. It seems his sense of humor could only carry his spirit so long...his mind finally collapsed for a while. War is a terrible thing, as they say, and not everyone is cut out for it. I'm afraid we've lost many brilliant minds to it but luckily Spike recovered and brought us all laughter and happiness.

Hey AL,

Maybe you need to rub a little VICK Vaporub on the chest mate.

Then a tiny wipe under the eyes so you look real beat up. Then call in sick for ten days while you hide at the Nall.

Vegemite video coming up tomorrow. Been in training and the little buggers are good at producing gas, thats for sure. I could beat all those kids in that video.

In fact I think I could rattle out the first three bars of god save the queen the way my gut feels at the moment.
