Oh no we're not!!! LOL Nothing wrong with not eating those things raw! They were never meant to be eaten that way anyway. Considering the reaction you had to Japalenos it probably would not be a good idea anyway. Just though I'd be neighborly and offer!

no we're not! stop it! You will regret it! The habanero isn't just hot, it's deadly. If all you've eaten is just a japaleno, then you have no comprehension of what it will do to you. Think about it like drinking gas and swallowing a match. It's not just going to be hot, there's going to be damage. People have died from habanero's before. And to top this all off, it's not a 5-10 minute burn session. It's at least 30 minutes, if you know what you're doing, and in that time, if your body rejects it, expect agony so bad that you just want to curl up into a ball. Extreme shaking and convulsions, hickups, need I continue? it's not just hot, it's dangerous.

Don't worry Chris. I'm not going to send anyone I like habanero peppers to eat raw. I was just teasing Jim. Chris is right. You really have to be use to this stuff to eat these so don't go running out and buying any thinking they are little and pretty and can't hurt like Snap did. They will cause intense pain.
