Al, not yet. I'll try again tomorrow. I just don't get it. I had a heck of a time with the starter getting it to run.

Sure wish I was there. Once it started I could tune that thing where it started every time. Sorry you're having so much trouble with it.

The funny thing is it ran good for about 15 minutes. I let it sit for awhile to cool off. It started the first flip. I shut it down and refilled the tank, it would not start. I only adjusted the screw about a 16th of a turn. It just doesn't seem like it should be that picky. But even when it runs and I do nothing it may or may not start again. I'm starting to think the module is not always moving the timing to make it easier to start.

The EI is solid state so it either works or it doesn't. Trust me you don't have to move the needle much to throw one of these out of wack. If your plug has gotten wet it's probably not giving off the greatest spark either. Once they get wet they are pretty much screwed. Only other option would be a clog in the fuel circuit somewhere but I'm guessing a new plug and a good tuning will fix it. If not have Bob replace the EI. One other thing, when you refill the tank from empty they take quite a few flips to get the fuel back up in the lines even with the choke on. Problem is, with a warm engine, once you get the fuel up you need to open the choke or risk flooding it. I really do hope you get it sorted soon as the engine has awesome power once you get it tuned. Like I said, mine is spinning a Vess 23A at 7400 rpm. Not many 50s will do that.
