All right guys...I have to do this...My Son sent me a file of his band's latest song...not my kind of music, but he's my boy...and I stand by him 100%!!

he's just 16, and is self taught on the guitar...he's picked it up pretty well, in my humble opinion

I don't see the need for the screamin' in the vocals, but like I said, to each his own I'm proud of him anyway!!!

Well I believe that this is a fake due to a couple reasons, If you play it frame by frame you can see the guy on the beach is 'smirking' while looking at the camera and pointing towards 'the incident'. Now if it were real he would have a look of OMFG and not half a smile and would be looking and pointing at the jet and most definitely would not be looking at the camera. Then there is a matter of angle of landing as opposed to the posistion or angle of the surfer to the runway when he "got snagged" that sure would of been a sharp very fast bank to the runway. I could go on but I believe given this bit of info you can see my reasoning as to why I think its a FAKE and just some fancy video editing!

Not my taste either buddy but he is good! You should be very proud of him, as I'm sure you are! My sons listen to this style of music and love it. Just because it's not our style doesn't make it bad. BTW When I was stationed in Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City South Dakota I worked in my spare time as a body guard for Rapid City. I have met and guarded Steven Tyler, Kiss, Bon Jovi, Cinderella, Metallica, Alabama, Clint Black, the WWF, John Denver, Jackson Brown, Neil Young, and Katherin Bach to name a few. BTW Katherin Bach's Mom worked on the base and is from Box Elder just outside of the base.

Then there are measurements to consider, a 747 is approx. 65' high (see here-http://travel.howstuffworks.com/a3803.htm) then when the jet comes into view over the runway it is approx 4x the height of the jet off the ground which would put the wheels minimum 3x the height of the jet off the ground, or approx. 170' high. Now considering the jet was prob at least another 100' higher when it was over the water and by the surfer, that would put the wheels at around 270' over the water. The surfer appears to be using a 80' line, but could be using a 100' foot which means he would have to of been at least 170' in the air when the jet goes by and he clearly was not. Then there is a matter of distance and angle of landing from the jet and runway when it first came into view as opposed to the distance and position or angle of the surfer to the runway when he "got snagged" ect... I could go on but I believe given this bit of info you can see my reasoning as to why I think its a FAKE and just some fancy video editing!

Deduce what you like, the video was shot on a cell phone and is real. The young man was killed, probably by a broken neck, on contact with the plane. I have friends who have wind surfed at this site and told me of the problems with the planes. Sadly, this is not a fake video. BTW If you can't tell the difference between that airliner and a 747 you shouldn't be analyzing anything. LOL

very very VERY nice guitar...I only wish I was at that level of playing. I am self-taught also but not that good. Tell him to keep it up! I like it.
