Some of you hardmen might not have found this on another thread running here on flying in the Philippines. Having spent some time there I asked if anyone had a taste for BALUT.

Al you can explain all you like about it from here on as I'm sure you know a whole lot about this stuff as well.

Its about 2000 kms or more South of me mate.

About 8 years ago we had one let loose out the back from us. About 300 Km away. Man are they a sight to see. Just awe inspiring how much power old mother nature has stored up.

And Boulder old mate. No amount of salt, pepper or hot sauce could or would get me to take on that challenge. No there's not enough beer in the world to get me to that stage either.

BTW For those of you NOT familiar with the Balut, it's a fertilized chicken egg that has been cured, not cooked, and aged. Eat all ya want Ken, I'm not riding that train!!! ROFLMHO

I'm sure you'll all be glad to know that the Stearman was fixed like new and my oldest son now owns it and won't fly it because it's so squirrelly on take-offs and landings!!! LOL
