Dear Giant friends,

Sitting here with my crazy head, and is spinning from all the great memories from America....i still cant imagine how small impulsive thing like eating a Japaleno, could result in a trip to Joe Nall where I met the world finest people.

The trip has become the highlight of my life to this day, all good that is happening is due to the fact I am living a life without drugs and alcohol, and that all I want is to be myself. All that has happened is great bonuses, even poor days is actual great days, but to find a poor day at Joe Nall was just not possible..lol. The greeting and welcome we regular Swedes received was well suited for Royalties. Nothing but smiles and happiness from all ends of the world, and keep in mind that I can hardly fly a trainer…..talk about utopia! Imagine sharing laughter’s with pilots and friends from all over the world, that’s optimal happiness for me!

We where quite nervous for the first meeting, but to no need, it turns out everyone was almost as crazy as we are…lol. We where offered drinks and food from all directions, and friendly help to find what we where looking for. Many where the people that offered their time to assist us Swedes far away from our daily life, the feeling I have in my stomach is beyond words.
T-shirts and hats dropped in as gifts from known and unknown faces. So many fantastic personalities gathered in one and the same place, that is larger than life, I hope you realize how unique this is.

Flying in all honor, but the friends I have now met nowadays have a huge space in my heart, and would anyone find their way to Sweden I will certainly do anything in my power to make sure that will be a great experience for them as well.
Every morning we got a hug from Laura, Firefighter made sure we where feeling lost, Max spent time teaching us useful English…lol, Elie told me all about how to deal with Max..
The Cowboy guys from Tucson showed us how to toast Marshmallows the hard man way…Crawfish with spice from the South was another great experience, and the Canadian girl (Beaver) educated me even more in the English language. One Gentleman could only hear what I was saying after drinking a beer, this man got a big place in my heart, so did his wonderful and helpful friends.

The meeting with Bill Hempel was truly a highlight of the week he showed me who QQ was, poor him….lol. Bill turned out to a regular but crazy guy just like me, that made me feel good.
One thing made me very pleased, everyone was acting on equal grounds, no matter how great of a pilot you are.

I did not get to talk to everyone I wanted, but if the mighty Japaleno-power wants, we will be back again. There is so much more to tell, but I am still in shock and it is no understatement that my thoughts are more dazzled than normal.

A huge thanks to everyone that where part of making this trip the highlight in our life’s.
Please send me pictures of your self to wesse@telia.com so that I can learn your faces and who is who.
I hope to see all of you at least one more time in my life journey, great thanks to all involved in Joe Nall, tons of hugs to all of you, you have managed to make the worlds best flying meeting.

Miss you all so much
// Wesse

Wesse my friend, I'm sure you and Slammis made the event larger then life and gave the same feelings you have to everyone you met. Thank you for visiting our country and please come back next year. We'll even get together and try and pay for it! You too Slammis man!!! From all of the photos I've seen I'd say you guys touched a lot of lives in a very positive way. Wesse you are truly an inspiration to us all and it was an honor meeting you. My son has even subscribed to your youtube videos and asks me everyday if I have seen your lastest. He was actually in here the other nite trying to make music with his mouth and hands like Slammis did on one of you videos. I have watched this thread from day one and have enjoyed every minute of it. I'm not much for eating the hot stuff but maybe one of these days I will join the club myself. Keep the videos coming and never change my friend.
