All of this talk about splash-asarus encouraged me to take this shot. A few flights later she was in the drink. After a night of drying out she is back to her old self. yeah is nice to be me.

Now I ain't no pro Doug but I don't think that's a $10,000.00 gasser!!! LOL Thank God!!! Snap still holds the record!!!! Glad to hear it dried out okay. I'm still working on the "Dry Land" thing. Maybe the crashes are easier on the plane in the water!! ROFL

OKAY, Does this count as a Splash-A-Saurus?? I'm flying my 30% Extra today and yell out "Landing" and as I'm coming down the runway for touchdown the guy flying the depron flying hydroplane, that was hovering over the runway, evidently didn't hear me because he was right there as my Vess 23A made the shortest work of a plane I've ever seen. Just one loud POOF!!! and it was snowing depron! No damage to the Extra. Splash one!!

Yeah, I think Larry, the guy flying the foamy, was just concentrating too much on his hovering because I was gliding in on low idle and everyone around him said they heard me yell. Anyway, he builds them himself so we gave him a full sheet of depron. I felt really bad but he thought it was funny as all heck. Definitely spectacular!!!! Just glad my new Vess 23A didn't hit the battery. I just put it on last weekend!!
