While I have never been to the Joe Nall, I have often driven for long stretches in the USA. Actually I've used (some would say misused) many business trips as an excuse to drive around the US. I've driven stretches like LA - Las Vegas - San Antonio - New Orleans - Charlotte. It's great fun, and IMO the best way to experience the US for us Europeans, who don't really know your country that well. Driving around is very interesting and very surprising. You meet great people that way and see places you never knew existed, while encountering surprising sites along the way (you know little things like the Grand Canyon )

There is a huge drawback to the above and it's time! You need a lot of it!!! The US are a very interesting and beautiful country, but damn it's BIG!!!

If you can afford to spend a few days driving down to SC, I'd say go for it (but shop around for the best rent a car deal - specially be careful of drop off charges and charges for taking the car out of state). If time is tight then Kiwi's advice of flying is probably best. Flights in the US can be really cheap, and I'm sure people in here will be able to help you find the best deal.

Well since I think owning more camping gear than wal-mart has for sell is a must if you live in the Natural State (Arkansas). I think I could bring some stuff that I will donate to the weese visit. Of course I would have to bring it all back when I leave which is probably on sunday or monday. but hey I have enough camping gear to live out in the sticks for a long time. just let me know?

OMFG where do I get the plans for that awesome plane. I just feel better, more like a MAN, more like a haard Man when I see that plane. I don't know if I would have the Cajones to fly it though... but just maybe with that plane I will have them or at least feel like I do!!!!!

I'm really thinking about going to Joe Nall. This would be my first time there. I'm thinking camping in a tent or maybe sleeping in my van... Can you tell me more about it. I just think if Wesse & Slammi can make it. I should come from Missouri. How much is it to camp?
