Yeah they are fun. a little tricky trimming out at first, but a blast. Funny enough, that was my second time getting that low, but it is addictive! Once that plane sets in, she settles in nicely.

Keep adding to this thread guys! I am on the fence with this plane. I have wanted it ever since I laid eyes on her. Nothing is more nostalgic than a large yellow biplane like my father had when I was only just knee high. This H9 ultimate is like the larger than life image I've had in my minds eye since I was a kid. Damn that thing is beautiful. I need a place to fly it. I'm getting it. sh#$%^t i really do need a place to fly something this large. I have 340 acres but the landing strip is only so so . I'm ordering it...............

What size and type motor did you end up going with? Did you change the gear and pants? Looks like CF but could be paint.

As for set up , how did you find it to dial in . Anything adverse to look out for? Quique somenzinni was in my town a few months ago and flew Jack Price's ( duralite batteries) Ultimate and I would be interested to see what his take was on this plane. I do know that when Mike MCconville was designing this plane he did make a few key changes . Extending the tail moment and lowering the height of the top wing to name a few. All of this to reduce pitch and roll coupling issues that most biplanes normally suffer from.

Thanks,

Mark

Nothing out of the ordinary. On KE it tucked the fuse and the wing but that is about it.

Hey Leblanc, think I could fit it into the garage? I'd just have to convince my wife that it'll be the last plane I get. Told her that I couldn't save for the boat with this damn thing for the ultimate. I got to get it out of the way first.
