I will fly the Ultimate (after I repair it from todays damage) And maybe we will fly the Big 260 and Edge if I can go up alone.

They are all about 3-D there.

Good deal Mike C,

I hope u can knock out that damage like in the blink of an eye. I also have a BG Ultimate that I am glad to have with me after flying it yesterday at the speedway. I took off and 20 seconds later I started advancing the throttle for a loop and the motor cleared out and zoom toward the top as I pull the throttle back I had nothing. I was in full throttle mode on the 30% ultimate running a BME-111 on a 26 x 10 Mejzlik. Well I have my timer set for 12 minutes so I always have plenty of fuel for a 12 minutes flight. At the 12 minute mark she was still smoking up and down the flight line as I started looking for were I would do my landings if things did not go as planned. At the 13.5 minute mark she ran out of gas and started dropping like a brick. It could not have been 15 seconds later she low and fast. I made the run way and hit a hole on the last part of the run and she flipped over no damage. Yes the throttle server was hanging like a loose goose on the mount I made by just gluing some hard wood blocks on the side of the firewall. Total my screw up so I have to remount my throttle servo and re-fly this bird. My 30x 12 Mejzlik will be here UPS style on Friday so I will def be looking to test that out on Sunday if all goes well. I am glad I had another plane with me yesterday 33% Cap with a Da-85 and a 26B. I got in 1 flight and ended up having to leave but did I mention this Cap is just one good flying plane and that 85 is just perfect on that airframe. As far as glow goes I will either be flying a Hype 3d OS-91, Mojo 60 OS-91 that Mike S and I did some horse trading for or a 3D foam bipe with a YS-120 of which none of those bring a smile to my face like a gas airplane does. I think I am getting closer and closer to letting the glow stuff go for good.

My Ultimate is a easy fix after I get time.
I broke one of the tail flying wire wood supports and that let the tailwheel go, the block must have been loose.
I was doing some pretty fast blenders

I'm looking at buying one of these; one that I'm looking at has only 1 5955 per aileron... is anyone else doing this? Does it work?

It will work fine. I just put flight #91 on mine this past weekend and that how it is setup, with just one 5955 per aileron. Two would be be better if you do a lot of medium to high speed snaps. Mine will not not snap a higher speeds but does a kind of a barrel roll. As the speed bleeds off, it then snaps over, snaps at lower speeds are fine. I do make some high speed passes and have never experienced any flutter.

Two would be better, but one is OK as long as you don't go smaller than the 5955.

couple of pics from the weekend

Mike S.

When you were in the process of recovering your Ultimate to that beautiful looking Honda scheme did you perform any mods prior to putting the covering back on? Reason I ask is that it "appears" that your ailerons have more throw than my "standard" H-9 Ultimate? I've got a damaged Ultimate that I'm planning on making a sinlge servo on each aileron but moving each to the mid-point of the aileron.
