Absolutely stunning! You're an artist with foam. I read your tips and tricks and have one question. What do you use for sticky back film for the templates and how do you get it less sticky to keep from damaging the depron?

I've got an Airfoilz Yak that I want to build and paint to match my 72" Aeroworks Yak (see pic). I contemplated doing it in low heat film, but paint would probly be a helluva lot lighter.

Hi Rick, thx man!

Yes i had same problems..., it is best to use low clamminess tape for hinges it is used specially for painting, im sure you can find it in hardware store, it is really cheap, is very easy to use and don't make any damage to depron. If you can't find it use any sticky tape/film you have, but before putting it depron, first glue and remove it (few times) to fabric ore simply duty surface, you need to play little to find best stage for painting, repeat this till stencils holding good but also make no damage for depron. Other solution would be stencils from depron, you always can use attach them with needles, but in this case you will get holes..

For your airfoilz Yak i suggest go with paint you save good amount of weight ans flyign characteristics!

Cheers
Donatas,

Thx guys! Diablokid just try it, little patient and you will do it, its pretty easy just take some time.

Snap, real nice airbrush, i suspect it was allot job with masking, is it your own designed picture ore you ussed some advices/tutorials? By the way what airbrush pistol you use? Im looking for good price/performance double action airbrush any suggestions? So far i thin Badger 150 from Tower should be good start. Here is one more airbrushed Futurion kit, i like this scheme pretty much.

Not much credit for me for scheme since i usse great Manuel Nubel tips:
