After watching the video of the UZI XXL I am thinking this is the perfect basher type foamy. I am kind of suprised that I have not found alot of post about it though. I would really like to hear from any one with this plane there thoughts about it. Me and my 12yo son used to fly 28% gasser and some glo 3d planes and after a couple years of not flying we need something to play around with in the field by our house that is a) durable and b) something that can be flown in a little wind, and c) something that can of course 3d The price tag is high but if it can take the abuse I saw in the video and if it flys well it would be worth the price to me. Thanks in advance |

OK I know someone has this plane!!! I ordered it based on the video and it will arrive this week. I have a few questions that I hope someone can help me out with. I am going to use the Hacker A30 16M motor... Is there any advantage of using a phoenix 45 ESC instead of the hacker 30 that comes in the hacker combo? |

OK I pm'd Max and he suggested I ask the question here in the forum so that others could see the answers and gain some info. So someone help a brother out,lol It might be a dumb question but I am not very experienced in electric motors, I hate to burn something up or buy something that I will not be happy with. |

ronnie, The CC45 ESC and the A30 16M is what I use in mine, it's perfectly over powered with that combo. With a APC 11-4.7 SF and a 3s TP 2100 PL I'm seeing around 35 amps so a CC45 will give you a little head room. If you use a 25C battery like the TP Extreme's or a Flightpower Evo 25, you'll definitely need the 45 amp. FYI, using a Slofly prop at high RPM's is not recommended and can be dangerous so be careful if you go this route. I never hit full throttle on mine, thats why I use them, I like the pull out and quick response, and after hundreds of flights I've never had a problem. |

Thanks for the info heydick. My Plane arrived today so I will be starting on it this weekend. Another ? for ya...how do you know how many amps you are drawing? Do you use a meter or something when setting up new combos? Also what kind and size carbon did you install in the wings and fuse? I am a power junkie too so thats why I wanted to mimic the setup in the video, lol I used to bash around a funtana with a saito 180...insane pull out!! Thanks alot for the info man |

Heya Ronnie!! Good choice dude, you will love the UziXXL!!! Between Brett and I, I think we've gone through about 6 of them the past year, it's the only other electric I fly short of the FG foamy of course (shameless plug!). Flat out the best 3d confidence builder I have found. Post your build thread! Brett and I will walk you through some of the mods we've done. You're gonna love it, just take your time building the first one MD
