Ollie, that is a great looking milling tool you've built there. Chapeau!

Here is my own most recent milling work. Not up to the standards of MyCamel at FancyFoam, but I think dern good for something busted out in about 3 hours....... : )

Here is my milling of an ElectriFly Yak 54.

Takes a while to cut the template but after that its pretty fast.

Hi Guys,
Was thinking..... In a downward flight, will a 140gram vs a 105gram f3p plane( totally identical in built, except in the weight) be different in downward vertical speeds? We know that in a vacuum, all things accelerate at 9.8m/sec2. so weight was never the issue. But in the real world, this might not actually happen. What I'm trying to say is.....if it does not really make a difference, the way to slow things down during the down-line flight is by drag devises, not so much as by reducing weight. What do you think? Just my thoughts....

Drag to weight ratio is where it makes a difference. Put a 10 square inch plate behind both airplanes you described and time them on a 100ft drop. You'll then see a measurable difference. No 100ft ceilings in most of our flying sites, but the effects don't change.
