Hmm, I think the best method sofar is that thin double sided tape. Sticks just like glue, and is very lightweight. Should only add a gram onto the total weight for 3-4 servos.

On all my 12-13oz foamies I wrap the servo with masking tape and then CA it in place. The weight of the tape is less than 1gram, .7grams to be exact. Not bat for a 340gram foamie. The nice thing about this setup is that you can later rip out the servo, peel the masking tape and the servo is just like new. Also, I use 8gram servos that put out 26oz of torque, and I have never had one come loose on me using masking tape and CA. |

Ca on sub 5 oz foamies, Homedepot double sided electrical foam tape for 38inch and larger.(twice as strong as servo tape) Used with servos from D47,Hs 45s up to HS 225 mg servos with no problems.

I use the tape method, because all you have to do is slice and remove. Instant brand new servo ![]() But still, I believe the thin double sided tape from scotch is the best for the small indoor foamies. But the best is mounting them in cutouts, and using a dab of CA on the servo rails.
