Your going to be extremely happy with either of them. I run mine with the eflite 400 and 20amp speedo and you just cant go wrong. Ive had nothing but good luck from thunderpower batteries as well.

Ive had 2 yaks and a juka and they both just fly awesome. Like everyone has said, the juka is 3D oriented and is probably the easiest hovering plane ive flown. They Yak is a great 3Der as well but you can fly all the IMAC sequences with total precision. Both have been GREAT learning tools for me and allowed me to get pretty good at 3D in a short time.

All i know is that as soon as i kill the plane im flying now, im am going to be all over the SKUA! It looks awesome!

I'm interested in trying them out since they're only $8.50/servo. I'm also interested in trying the Mojo motor out to.
The servo arms have big holes, but are small in length. I have my D/R turned up to 125% on all surfaces, and it's more than enough for 3D.

The size of the arm spline matches a Hs 55.

Here is a shot of the Mojo E8 servo that we offer with our combo package. I have never seen a stripped gear or a servo fail. The only down side is they are not as fast as the Futaba or JR servos. The arms work great, if you use the outside hole on the arm and the hole on the wood control horn supplied with our foamies, you wil get at least 40-45 degrees. If you want more, the Hitec 55 long arms work great.

I have attached a photo of the Mojo servo showing the cross arm with the small holes on one side. Just trim off the shaded areas and you will be good to fly.

Thanks Mike it was good to meet you and Pedro. I was snap rolling that thing so hard the battery flew off, I did a harrier landing with it dangling, man that thing is sweet.

Haven't had a battery fall off, or have half of a motor fly off, but I have had control horns rip out on me Mostly in blenders, or KE spins.

Well it happend today, i killed my tribute fx. I lost all control on a downline and it hit HARD. Total loss, prop was a couple inches in the ground...you get the idea. Thought it was a lockout at first, but it ended up that my satellite reciever unplugged. It kinda sucks since i barely had 15 flights on it but it may be a blessing in disguise because now i can order my Skua and fly that right away!! Im just counting the days...lol

I just built my first DW Yak and ended up in a mid-air (not my fault at all - I was hovering and another guy flew right into me) on the second flight. The other plane flew right through my rudder but I kept flying and landed perfectly. It was real windy, but the plane held up pretty well for such a light foamy. It was actually my first foamy (and first electric) so I have nothing to compare it too, but it handled better than I expected.

Hehe. No need for a rudder on the yak. As long as you have the fuselage, an elevator, and at least one aileron, it will still fly. Still flies better with all four control surfaces

GenX!! Oops, it's not on the poll . As for servos, I wrap them with friction tape (bat handle tape) and use a drop of hot glue. Won't come off until you cut the tape.
