how is the vpp controlled? the only one ive seen or used is on rf 3.5 which is throttle 1/2 to 100% is forward and 1/2 to 0 is reverse.

haha i was one of the first to get one of these but its still looking good in the box, maybe ill stick it together sunday but i doubt it because i got some new parts for the quad.

ITS DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ready to fly got all the bits working today and did a test hover in my room... this thing is gonna hover great. i was only able to do fast hand off hovers but it wont take much. the throws are awsome! I have 30% expo set right now on both high and low rate.. like ill be using low rates hahahah! if its not windy ill get to fly after work tommarrow if not itll be a hover inthe garage and then really get it rocken at the gym wedneday night

Pretty much the same, I personally move the "crossover" point closer to 1/4 stick rather than 1/2.

ill be flying out side sometimes, so they will break off anyway.. may yet glue it on. wont hurt the flying. just looks differnt. way!!! too windy to try tonight maybe tomarrow orelse itll be wednesday, i have video coverage lined up.

oh question, any one using the castle thunderbird 9 ecs, does it kill the motor when the bec goes off, or does it pulse.. reason i ask is a guy i fly with had his foamy just fall out of the air during a hover when the bec kicked... my guess in no hovering after the 2 minit mark?? last thing i wanna do is snapotailoff..

i am currently running 3 CC 9A ESC's but i dont think i've ever taken a battery down that low to know if they will cut out or pulse, would like to know as well. just in case...

i always fly outside, but the wheelpants IMO just mame them look that much better. I just hover catch it to land anyway, never use them as a actual landing gear. Didnt put any of the metal rod like the instructions say to.
