i stole this from rc groups Cut Carbon rods to length for both ailerons. Make 4 Z-Bends, total length of the piece after the Z-bend about 1" long Cut some heat shrink so that it will slide over the carbon and the Z-bend rod. Slide the heat shrink over the carbon rod, then over the Z-bend rod, making sure the Z-bend is just off the edge of the carbon (on both sides of the carbon rod). Shrink the heat shrink. Pull 1 Z-bend rod out of 1 side of each carbon rod. Insert 1 Z-bend into your servo arm, and one into the control horn. Turn on the transmitter/airplane Center your aileron servo Slide the Z-bend that was removed from the heat shrink, back into the heat shrink where it was originally. The heat shrink does not hold the carbon rod/Z-bends steady, you have to glue them, so shorten/lengthen the rod as needed. Glue over each side of the carbon rod where the Z-bends attach. Voila, perfectly centered ailerons. Seth

Like I said, everyone has their own way on building push rods.... My way will not work with the carbon rod reinforcement on the underside of the fuse........ In which the method that Seth uses would work.

i like z bend at the surface and ill put the tiny lock skrew things at the servo end, this way no play. heck if i had enough i would put those on both sides. mx2 instructions plenty easy to understand. no progress today either... had to soak up every bit of clear blue sky today flying the gasser. ill work on it after work this week. now that i have all the parts it wont take long. Oh and yes the tower hobby fligth power 2cell charge jack adaptors fit the tp 350s, for those not using tp charger. headsuprc.com also has it labeled for the tp port. mike

one thing i noticed tonight when i test fitted the top fuse section, is that my gluing of the lower fuse has cloged up some of the slots for the top section, so i will have to trim some off the tabs. it shouldnt be a problem tho the top will be getting good gluing also.. and a few extra carbon rods, since i like the full speed blenders hahah I got in some of my best flying on my qq yak today while trying some manuvers I want to use in a foamy freestyle( for fun) I was all jittery 'n 'stuff it was good.. cant wait to have the mx2 flying! i just need to stop freaken talking on fg and build it.. nuff talking im going to bed tomarrow i promise ill work on it hahamike

You really shouldn't need any extra carbon rods on the top fuse... I've never had any issue with it even flexing let alone breaking, it seems that normal glue and the trusses on the vertical stab stablize the top fuse pretty well. But if it makes you feel better, go for it! Hard to make a plane too strong. I've got the 2 i'm building now framed up on the landing gear, I'll put up some pics when they're done! RJ
