Here's the deal... I want to give foam try. I don't care if it is epp or depron. I am pulling the gear out of my Fliton Inspire Mini, and want an airframe to throw the gear into. I fly a mix of 3d and precision, but really want to hone my 3d skills. I really only want to be out the cost of a new airframe. I don't want any brand wars here, just looking for ideas. So, here's what I have...

Get the DW Foamies 38" Yak 54 or Juka. The Yak is more 50/50 on precision and 3D and the Juka i a good 3D plane. You can put a Hs 55 on each aileron a HS 55 on the rudder and the 65 on the elevator.

I would build something with a larger than 40 in wingspan for your gear selection. I fly an enlarged proud bird at 48" and it is awesome..

I've been looking at DW for a while, but I think I'm between sizes with my power system. I've been researching this for a while and can't find a match for my set-up. I was hoping that someone knew of something that I missed. Looks like I'm going to have to scratch build something. Thanks for the replies guys.

Check out the Profiles in our store they might be a nice match for your set-up. It would definiantly have enough power. The one we built weighed in at 1IB 2oz with the stock setup. Tom Plane Addicts |
