Default ZDZ 210

I will probably have a 3.3 Yak 55 within a month. Im trading my H9 Ultimate + cash for one, just have to build a crate for it and find a shipper. Anyways the Yak has a ZDZ 210 in it which should really be nice in the Yak. I saw on the ZDZ site that they say to run 40:1 mixture. On my DA's after they are broke in I always use 100:1 Amsoil. Can I use the 100:1 amsoil on the ZDZ without worrying about anything.
The Props that come with it are a fuchs 36x10 and I think a 32x10 3 blade. I perfer 2 blade props more because I love to 3D, but wouldnt a 34x10 or 12 be better for the 210 for IMAC and 3D type stuff. I will still buy a 34" prop to try when I get it anyways.
I cannot wait to get this plane, i saw a few fly already and they are sweet, but I will miss the Ultimate a little.

Don't know about the big twin but my ZDZ 80 seems to like the Mobil 1 T2 at 32 to 1. I would run more oil than 100 to 1 Amsoil in it if it were mine.

Talk to Mike Dooley at RCShowcase about the 210. Two things you dont want to do with it are: run it too lean, and 2: not run enough oil. My buddy has the 210 in his 3.3m Yak and it pulls it with authority, but he runs 40:1 Mobil 1 after break in. He broke it in on 32:1 Pennsoil 2 stroke aircooled.

Ryan, call a ZDZ distributer. I have run DA and ZDZ's in the past and asked the same question you are. What I wanted to do is run both motors out of the same can. After calling DA and ZDZ's distributer I couldn't do it and don't remember exactly why but obviously had something to do with the brand of oil and mix ratio. Call ZDZ, they gave me a pretty good explanation why I shouldn't use the 100:1 Amzoil. It's been a couple years since then so I don't remember all the details so you'll have to research for yourself. The ZDZ distributer is located somewhere up north and I wish I could remember thier name for you. Good luck on your new plane, I'm sure its gonna be awsome. One other thing...post a question about shipping. A lot of guys on here have experience with shipping big birds.

34-10 or 12 would be good for 3D, the 10 will spool faster of course, but might not be enough blade for it. You should check with Mike at RCS, but I would stick with 40:1.

You can run Mobil MX2T@ 32:1 in the ZDZ and DA without any issues - also will keep the distributors happy for warranty work. ZDZ doesn't recommend using ANY brand of oil leaner than 40:1 after break-in.

I run only the Mobile M2X-T in all my 210's. When I break them down they look brand new on the inside. I could not tell the difference in power running 100-1 to 40-1. I like the extra oil and the fact that it burns VERY clean is an added plus. As for props. I run a 34-12 2 blade or a 31-12 3 blade with great results. This motor pulls like a Mac truck.

I have a DA 150 and two 160 Champs. I'm running Mobil 2T racing in all three and they run great. The DA pulls as good as my friend's DA-150 and he uses Amzoil 100:1. Same RPM.
You'll love the 210 I've seen one at my local field and it pulls a 3.3 CA YAK around like it's a foamy!
