Default Xoar props?

Yeah I know the Vess props are all the hype right now. I have been wanting and waithing for the 26A to come out. I just put in a huge order the other night for several planes I am trying to get ready for the up an coming season. I really needed to order efficiently. Trying to get as many items from one outlet as possible. For props, I like to order them from DA. Unfortunately no Vess 26's in yet. So Bolly was my next choice for wood. I have used them before. I was told by one of the guys that they are no longer carrying the Bolly name and that they will now be stamped as Xoar.

Any comments on this prop. My smaller wood props are Menz.
I guess 26" and up are now going to be Xoar. If they really lick then I will bite the bullet and order a 26 A from Vessaero. As far as this wood prop goes though; Any good?

I have found the Xoar props are a bit on the loud side. Other than that, they are a very good, hard pulling prop.

I understand about having to order a bunch of stuff at once, but the 26A is worth it if you have to order it by itself.

Real loud out of the hole, I mean transitioning from hover to wide open REALLY loud, more so then vess or menz carbon.

the 50 cc xoars (21/8 22/8) i used didnt perform well gave high rpms with less power compared to other props. Those sizes are all i have exp with on the xoar line.

Could that be because of the 8 inch pitch. Most 3d props are 10 pitch arent they.

8 pitch is great for 50cc engines if you 3D. 10 may be better for Precision.

For what it's worth: Xoar = NX = JXF = BME props.

I like the 22-23" props. I haven't been overly impressed with the larger ones (26 and 27") I've used.

my exp comparing the xoar 21/8 vrs the bme 21/8 is that the bme scored 7300 vrs 7800 for the xoar but the bme out pulled the xoar by a huge margin. These were compared on a bme yak with a bme 50 on the same day over 3 days of flying. and other comparisons were made around the same time with my da50 on a wh extra 300 . There were props other than xoar and bme that were better for the da wh combo.

Totally true. I have a Xoar 23x8 and a JXF 22x8. They both have the same size and color stamp on the hubs...one says 23x8 the other 22x8. The shape of the blades is identical..very sharp tips off to one side.

I bought a JXF 22x8 prop from a guy for $22 plus $3 shipping. What a deal. DA does a Xoar 22x8 for $25 plus $9 UPS charge. 34/25 = 34% more from DA for same prop. Hmmm.
