Not likely, try repositioning the clamp at the very bottom of the plug cap and tighten it tight. the cap can be replaced if it's been damaged, the high tension lead cannot.

I will try that on Monday. How can I replace the cap if it is damaged, and what exactly do you mean by the high tension lead?

The high tension lead is the spark plug wire.

To replace the cap, carefully cut the shrink wrap off and slide the braided shielding up the spark plug wire out of the way, remove the spring retaining ring from the end of the cap, bend out the tabs holding the cap halves together, remove the metal cap halves and silicone boot. Replace with like parts in reverse order, use some rubbing alcohol to lube the inside of the silicone boot so the plug wire and spring on the end will slide in easy.

Unhappy Re: CRRC Pro GF26I

Hi guys
I have just recently purchase one of these engines and was running my third tank throught it when it just stopped. I can't get it to go again. My battery for the EI is full and when i take the plug and re-connect it i can't see any spark. Also when i used to turn the power of to the EI i could hear a click on the unit now thats gone.
Has any one had any troubles with there EI units???

Help! Re: CRRC Pro GF26I

Need help!
Day after day my engine is getting difficult fo start up and tune.
For the first start up of the day I have to flip It for about one hour and at each flight I have to adjust the carburetor.
When I'm flying I'm noting a noise like if the engine was turning a unbalanced propeller,as the engine was vibrating!
Examining the engine I noticed a leak on the front bearing(PHOTO).

May be this my engine's problem?
Many thanks!

Oh Yeah that is most definitely a problem sounds like the seal/bearing in the front of the motor is shot. causing it to suck air and vibrate i bet if you grab the crankshaft and wiggle it from side to side and up and down that you find a bit of movement,

But Jody can answer this much better than I .

Other than this problem how do you like this engine? and how old is it ?

thanks
Big Mo

I think Mo hit the nail on the head, looks like a problem to me! If this is a new engine, send it back to the dealer you purchased it from for warranty repair.

Help! Re: CRRC Pro GF26I

Just purchased this engine and received it yesterday. My first gasser! Has anyone put this in a Funtana 90 or a Seagull 540 Edge 60 size? Have a 125 4 stroke in the Seagull and the Funtana had a 100 4 in it.
Any help you can send my way would be most appreciated.

I had one in a Showtime 90, but I crashed it, so I will be putting my CRRC on a Funtana 125 when it freakin comes in stock.

Thanks for the quick comeback 3D. Would you say the Showtime was the same as the Funtana 90? Size wise, etc.? I see you are from Antioch. Heading up there in October. Hoping to fly at Middle Point RC in the boro. I lived in Lebanon for 30 years. Miss it!

Oh reeeeeeeeeeeally?! Well come on up! I fly at 2 fields. Cane Ridge in Nashville-ish for when I don't feel like driving and Middle Point when I want to hang out all day. Have you ever flown at Middle point before? We'd be glad to have ya.

Now, as for the Showtime and the Funtana, size-wize, they're pretty similar, but the 'tana has more wing area, so it's better suited to carry the weight of a gasser. I've never owned a 'tana before, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it flies with the CRRC.

BTW, I made it on the club website. LOL www.mprcf.com
