87 octane 32:1 Penzoil
close to sea level, temps ~70-80

NX 22x8:
When new, just leaned in low end enough to transition ok
7150 peak
1950 ide

After 2 gallons, high needle untouched, low end tuned just right
7300 peak
1500-1550 idle

"Frankenmotor" Old 3W 85 twin made from used parts, Falkon ignition...
3W 26-10 prop, big can mufflers from a larger 3W, 6230 rpm....

DA-150 MTW cans, alltitude 4200', air temperature 67, Amsoil Saber 100:1, 91 octane Chevron fuel,Mezlik 30x12 6240 rpm on staight level flight with a engine temperature of 234, dropping to 6100 rpm on a vertical upline and with the engine temperature at 245. Diagnosed with a Pauly's R/C Products Temp-Tach.

3w-85xi, after 3 gallons spins a mejzlik 26x10 at 6800 rpms. Original muffler, 91 octane mixed at 40:1 with pennzoil. Unknown hummidity and unknown pressure. Temps at 90ºF.
Still vibrates a lot, but has incredible power.

Ok guys its new engine & plane time for me so here are the vitals for those who want to know .

Plane :- comp arf 3.0 yak

Engine :- 3W 170 classic NIB
Pipes :- 3W L90 ( the long ones )
Headers :- K & S stainless steel @ 275mm long

Run in test @ four hours on bench
Oil :- 33:1 castrol T2
Run in prop :-30 x 12 mej
RPM hot @ end of 4 hours :- 5300

1 st session -
Oil :-3W @ 50:1 , RPM 5300 with Mej 29 x 12 3 blade

2 nd session , RPM 5500 with Mej 32 x 10 2 blade

3 rd session , all same

4 th session , RPM 5950 with PT 32 x 10 2 blade

5th session , No tach start to rip Mej 32 x 10 2 blade , 7 hours total run @ this point

Up date on figures after 11 hours of air time and standard 3W headers (long drop)

Mej 29 x 12, 3 blade - 5850

PT 32 x 12 , 2 blade - 5850

Mej 32 x 10 , 2 blade - 6000

Mejzlik spins faster, compared to Menz-S prop shapes.
Most wooden props impose a heavier load on the engine than carbon due to the design limitations in wood, which would make them too fragile.
